AGF Home Inspection are qualified professionals giving you a peace of mind about your purchase and the money you are spending. We help you investigate your home in its entirety with a fresh, unbiased approach. We treat each home inspection as if we are purchasing the home for ourselves.
As your home inspector, we are especially looking for major deficiencies that may require costly repairs. Often we find homes that require only minor repairs or maintenance, but once in a while we come across something that may lead you to rethink your purchase. We want to help you make as informed a decision as possible. Please note that any decision you make is not the suggestion or responsibility of the inspector.
Following each inspection we will provide you with a report on all the information we found about your home, as well as a comprehensive “to-do” list to let you know what major or minor repairs you will need to make.
We also do pre-delivery, 30-day, or year-end home inspections. These inspections are more and more common as home buyers want to know the quality of the work performed on their new home. Even with new homes, there is such thing as a “defective product”.
All inspections are performed with written contracts that specifically explains the scope and limitations of the inspection. It is our policy that the contract* will be emailed to you before the inspection. So we require your information when booking your home inspection. All inspections are performed in accordance with the Code of Ethics and the Standard of Practice of the National Association of Home Inspectors.
*Please Note: The contract will need to be signed prior to the inspection or we will not be able to move forward on your behalf.
